LaterOn is a free social planning app for arranging same-day hangouts. Jen picks a place to meet friends later on that day. The app sends a push notification with the details of the outing to her friends — plus it shows up on their homepage, too. Friends click yes or no. Jen and friends get together. It's as simple as that. You want to hang out today and LaterOn handles the rest.

Where did the idea come from?

As Covid restrictions were winding down, I sat in my house wanting to get out and be with people, but texting was cumbersome and social platforms didn't fit the bill. I simply wanted to ask "who wants to meet me for coffee this morning?" and there wasn't an easy way.

 

Now there is.

Everywhere and anywhere. Cafes, bars, restaurants, museums, festivals, art classes, pottery painting, the gym — or the park, the beach, a friend's backyard.
